Effective date: Jul 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CHRISTUS Health ("CHRISTUS Health," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the text (SMS) messages we send to job applicants. It applies only to our recruiting SMS program and does not replace any general CHRISTUS Health privacy policy.
When you apply for a position and consent to receive text messages, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent, including the date, time, and method of opt-in which is the SMS consent checkbox in your application (unchecked by default). We also reference limited information from your application (such as your name and the role you applied for) so we can send you relevant messages.
We use your mobile number and application information solely to communicate with you about your candidacy, including:
We do not use SMS to send marketing or promotional messages.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
We work with Adverto Inc. ("Adverto"), operator of the TextCX messaging platform, to send these messages on our behalf, and with Twilio Inc., which delivers the messages through mobile carriers. Adverto accesses your information from our applicant tracking system only to send these messages and does not modify your application data.
We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only with the service providers named above, for the sole purpose of operating this messaging program, and as otherwise required by law.
We retain your information only as long as needed for the recruiting process. Once your application is dispositioned (closed) in our applicant tracking system, Adverto purges the personal information it extracted to send messages, retaining only your phone number and consent record to honor your communication preferences. CHRISTUS Health retains your application data in accordance with its general data retention practices.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact support@textcx.app. Opting out of texts will not affect your job application. Providing SMS consent is voluntary and is not required to apply for or obtain employment.
This program and its data are hosted and processed in the United States.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent version.
