As part of CHRISTUS Health, CHRISTUS Ochsner Southwestern Louisiana is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving the southwest Louisiana community with two hospitals and nearly 1,300 Associates. We specialize in cardiology, stroke, oncology, neonatal intensive care, neurology, orthopedics and surgical services including bariatric and women’s health services. Sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word of Houston, Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word of San Antonio and the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, our mission is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to every individual we serve.

CHRISTUS Ochsner Lake Area Hospital

We are an 88-bed, full-service acute care hospital that offers compassionate, quality healthcare for your entire family. Proudly serving residents of Southwest Louisiana since 1984, our hospital is the area's preferred leader for women's services. We offer comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and medical and surgical care. We are an Accredited Bariatric Surgery Center and operate a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. We have over 500 dedicated staff members and nearly 200 affiliated physicians, covering a range of 36 medical specialties, who are committed to keeping you and your family healthy.
