In collaboration with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), the CHRISTUS Health SkillBridge Internship Program provides military service members who are within 180 days of separation from military service a variety of roles to explore. The aim is to facilitate their transition to civilian life by providing hands-on learning experiences and training within CHRISTUS Health facilities.
CHRISTUS Health has also collaborated with the Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) Military Spouse Fellowship Program (MSFP). This program is tailored for spouses of active military members, serving as a vital workforce development initiative. In this program, participants are able to establish connections and acquire valuable job experience. Upon completing the fellowship, candidates are able to apply and be considered for available opportunities at CHRISTUS Health.
