Materials Management Technician - 837006 in Alamogordo, NM

Job Description

• Performs the receiving, storage, and distribution of all supplies and equipment shipped to the medical center.
• Checks the quantities received against the packing slips and receiving screen. Notifies the managers of any discrepancies. Receives items in the computer.
• Determines proper destination of supplies and equipment ordered for other departments and assures timely delivery to the designated department. General storeroom items shall be received in and put on shelves in their appropriate place.
• Inventories individual departments for necessary supplies from par level and delivers to the appropriate department.
• Packs and ships materials and equipment from the medical center.
• Delivers equipment to Bio-Medical Department for safety checks.
• Consolidates items used with charged items daily.
• Keeps the receiving/distributing area clean and organized at all times.
