ESD Tch I - Housekeeping - PRN in Santa Fe, NM

Summary:

To ensure the safety, health and morale of patients, visitors and employees by providing a clean and attractive environment with minimal interference to others.

Responsibilities:

• Performs dismissal cleaning, in assigned area(s) based on the order of priority set by Nursing, and completed per established Infection Control and ESD Cleaning Standards. Documents the completion of the dismissal cleaning.
• Completes patient area(s), public area(s) and office area assigned daily, according to set standards and records for review the same.
• Takes down and replaces cubicle curtains as requested or scheduled per area.
• Maintains strict confidentiality at all times.
• Develops and maintains professional working relationships with hospital personnel, co-workers, visitors and patients.
• Maintains assigned hospital equipment in good repair and condition and completes work orders for repairs.
• Delivers clean linen to floors, picks up soiled linen and return soiled linen to Linen Services. 
• Drives hospital vehicles as needed and as licensed and insured.
• Reads and reviews policies and guidelines and regulatory requirements for infection control and general safety.

Requirements:

Education: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: 

• Must comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.

Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses:

• Valid New Mexico’s Driver’s License preferred.
