Join our Ambulatory Access Center team as a key connection point in delivering exceptional patient care. In this high-volume, phone-based role, the Ambulatory Access Center Representative serves as the primary voice patients and families rely on—handling inbound and outbound calls to schedule appointments, coordinate care, and guide patients across pediatric primary, specialty, and surgical services. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring timely access to care while providing compassionate, professional customer service and maintaining accurate registration and financial information. Candidates who thrive in a fast-paced call center environment and bring prior experience in healthcare access, scheduling, or customer service will be especially successful. Performs a variety of complex administrative duties for patients in need of routine and/or urgent appointments, medical procedures, tests, and associated ancillary services in an ambulatory in/outpatient setting. Assess patients’ needs, including but not limited to, financial counseling, interpreter services, social services and refers to appropriate person or area. Alerts providers to emergent patient care needs.
