Our Louisiana and South East Texas Region is made up of these ministries:

CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth

Setting the standard for progressive health care in Southeast Texas, CHRISTUS SOUTHEAST TEXAS Health System, is a Catholic, not-for-profit health care system that has been serving the needs of its communities including Beaumont, Port Arthur/Mid County, Jasper and others for more than 117 years. The fully integrated healthcare delivery system including three inpatient hospitals and 27 additional points of access ranging from outpatient care to long term facilities, are recognized as the regional leader in outpatient services, cardiology, oncology, neurology, orthopedics, sports medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, birthing, neonatal care, cardiac rehabilitation, imaging, and emergency services, while CHRISTUS SOUTHEAST TEXAS St. Elizabeth is designated as the area's only Level III Trauma Center. The system continues to adapt and change to meet the needs of the community, following the values and mission of the founding Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word of Houston and San Antonio– to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini

CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, located in Alexandria Louisiana, is a 241-bed facility employing approximately 1,600 Associates and a medical staff of over 325 physicians. CHRISTUS Cabrini offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services and is accredited by the Joint Commission. CHRISTUS Health Shreveport-Bossier is a Catholic, nonprofit system owned and operated by CHRISTUS Health, Dallas, Texas. We've provided high-quality, cost-effective care since 1894.
