Vascular Tech/Full-Time in Santa Fe, NM

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs outpatient and inpatient exams under the direction of a registered vascular tech.Performs upper and lower extremity venous evaluations, carotid artery exams, upper and lower extremity arterial evaluations, transcranial doppler studies and photoplethysmography studies. Assist Medical Director and other doctors while they dictate exams by preparing tapes and necessary measurements. Provides preliminary reports to physicians when necessary.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Successful completion of an accredited program in vascular or ultrasound technology

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: R.V.T. eligible, A.R.D.M.S.

SKILLS: Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate strong organization skills. Manual dexterity to actively perform non-invasive vascular examinations.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year experience as a vascular or ultrasound technologist preferred.
