Surgical Technician Non Certified Lead - General Surgery - Full Time in Alexandria, LA

Summary:

Under the direction of a professional nurse, performs all processes that relate to the delivery of direct patient care and assistance care in the OR prior, during and after any surgical procedure. As the lead tech for a service line, provides leadership, education, direction, support and facilitation for improving operational efficiencies within specific service. Includes care preparation, surgeon preferences, instrumentation, turn-over times and inventory management. Daily collaboration with RN Service Line Coordinator. Is a mentor/coach for orientees.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Experience

• 3 or more years of experience required
• 5 years of experience preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• BLS required

4 Days - 10 Hours
