Scribe - ECC ER Physicians in Tyler, TX

Summary:

The central role of the Scribe is to relieve the physician of clerical or secretarial duties; thus allowing the physician to focus more directly on clinical care. The Scribe is an unlicensed person and exclusively non-clinical. They do not touch patients and do not engage in any type of patient care. A Scribe’s role is limited to documentation and efficiency management for the physician.

Responsibilities:

• Document the history, physical exam, results, procedures, course, and physician consults
• Access and document laboratory results and radiology findings
• Access and display X-rays for the physician to review
• Locate and obtain PMHx, previous charts, past results, and recent studies
• Record physician interpretations of X-Rays and ECG’s

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
