  • Adheres to all hospital policies regarding the handling of cash
  • Balance the cash drawer daily
  • Prepares the daily Accounting Journal and balances to the deposit
  • Accepts patient payments over the phone
  • Accepts on-site patient payments
  • Processes all in-coming mail correspondence from payers or patient’s
  • Forwards patient concerns to supervisor
  • Maintains a neat and orderly desk at all times since the public has full access to the Cashier’s workstation
  • Assist Benefit Advisors as needed
