Summary:

A health care professional who serves as a clinical resource for patient care in the area of expertise of a wound care. Provides direct patient care, consultation, and education in the area of select disorders and surgical procedures of the integumentary, gastrointestinal, and urinary systems.

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills 

• Graduate of a nursing school; Current RN licensure.

B. Experience 

• Wound and Ostomy; Med/Surg Experience Preferred

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications 

• Certified in wound and ostomy care or actively pursuing licensure based on the guidelines determined at date of signature.
