Summary:
The Program Manager Benefits is responsible for leading and coordinating strategic and operational projects across the Retirement, Health & Welfare, and Wellness teams within the Benefits department. This role ensures the successful execution of initiatives that enhance the Associate experience, improve operational efficiency, and support organizational goals. Working closely with the Strategic Director of Benefits, the Program Manager will apply structured project management methodologies to drive execution, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver measurable outcomes across all benefits domains.

Education/Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with project management platforms such as Monday.com or Smartsheet is a plus.
Experience
• 7 years of experience in lieu of a degree, 3–5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably within Benefits, Total Rewards, or HR operations.
• Experience supporting or leading projects such as ERP implementations, vendor transitions, process improvements, open enrollment, and M&A integrations.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
• PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
• Agile or Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
In accordance with the CHRISTUS Health License, Certification and Registration Verification Policy, all Associates are required to obtain the required certifications for their respective positions within the designated time frame.
