Summary:
As a member of the health care team, evaluates and treats patients with cognitive, physical, and psychosocial deficits within the scope of a licensed occupational therapist. Collaborates with other hospital personnel to ensure quality care for the patient. May supervise the activities of COTA, Therapy Technicians and Student Interns.
Requirements:
A. Education/Skills
· Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy with a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
B. Experience
· New graduate or experienced occupational therapist.
C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
· Must be licensed in the State of Texas as an Occupational Therapist, Registered
· American Heart Association BLS – within two (2) weeks of employment
