Print Production Tech II - Print Shop at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System

Summary:

The Print Production Tech II must be detail orientated and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The work varies from day to day and includes digital printing, signage, mail services, bindery, estimating, shipping, and helping out on the production floor organizing orders/prints. This position is primarily responsible for digital printing and bulk mail service compliance and coordination to maximize savings for the system. The Print Technician should have excellent time management skills and experience dealing with online orders.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Standards
• Print Room Management – Execution of all print art requests.
• Manage incoming orders based on due/ship date to ensure timely production and delivery.
• Layout and calculate size information and inputs into a computerized sign-making machine.
• Works with end users to create digital production solutions.
• Re-ordering supplies from vendors and maintaining supply inventory.
• Mail list CASS certification
• Installs and places signage
• Tracks all signage (interior & exterior), sign locations, repairs, or replacement signs as necessary.
• Print and produce copy center materials as required (digital, 4 color digital copier machines, envelope printer)
• Run Ultra Violate coater machine
• Run bindery machines such as cutter, folder, laminator, shrink-wrapped, drills, perfect binder, and other related equipment.
• Run mail machines such as envelope inserter, taber, mail meter, scale, and other related equipment.
• Meet daily production schedule deadlines

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
