Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Clinic (Outpatient) at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Health System

CHRISTUS St. Vincent's growing orthopedic team, is seeking a fulltime APC with 2+ years of experience. This position is clinic based and the provider will see new, follow up & post op patients, refer to specialists as needed, provide consultative evaluation of patients, integrate input from other physicians and team members to inform diagnoses and treatment programs, assess whether injuries require medication, physical therapy, or a combination of both, guide patients in improving their physical and mental condition, manage pain, and avoiding future injuries. The APC will also maintain records in EPIC, identify risk factors for injuries and educate patients on how to manage overall health, existing injuries and prevention, will perform injections, read & interpret x-rays and perform occasional surgery assists.
