Patient Care Technician- Sitter Pool, Full Time at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System

CHRISTUS is looking to hire several full time Patient Care Technicians to join our team. If selected our interview day will be Wednesday, September 4th and you will start with CHRISTUS on Monday, September 23rd!

Summary:
Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensures patient safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Feeding patients, measuring and recording their food and liquid intake.
• Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors.
• Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds.

Requirements:

Education/Skills • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience • Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications • BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
