Monitor Technician, Monitoring Central Telemetry, Jasper - Full time at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System

Summary:

Continually monitors the EKG waveform displays in a centralized telemetry monitoring station. Documents changes in rhythm and reports these changes according to established protocol. Requires thorough knowledge of arrhythmia recognition.

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Must possess good written and oral communication skills

B. Experience

· EKG/arrhythmia interpretation background desired

· Basic knowledge of medical terminology

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

· EKG within 90 days of hire/transfer date
