Summary:

The LVN/CNA – Central Telemetry Monitor is responsible for the continuous observation of patients’ cardiac rhythms from a centralized monitoring station. This role includes accurate interpretation, documentation, and prompt communication of rhythm changes to the nursing and medical staff. The position supports safe, effective patient care and contributes to the overall mission of CHRISTUS Health.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor and interpret patients’ cardiac rhythms via telemetry.
• Document rhythm strips and patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Promptly notify nursing and medical staff of arrhythmias, rate changes, or significant rhythm abnormalities.
• Perform equipment checks to ensure proper functioning of telemetry systems and report malfunctions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient safety and clinical outcomes.
• Provide patient care support within the scope of licensure/certification under the supervision of an RN.
• Adhere to CHRISTUS Health policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• CERT
• LVN preferred (Considering Nursing Assistant's)
• BLS

Work Schedule:

7AM - 7PM

3 Shifts per week
