Position Title: Interface Analyst II
Position Location: 5101 N. O’Connor Blvd, Irving, TX 75039
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Summary of Duties:
- Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.
- Works with groups of individuals in the analysis, design, development, and delivery of technical Integration Solutions.
- Works closely with project teams on customer-specific initiatives which involve message movement, translation, or integration development to solve technical messaging communication and transformation issues.
- Assists team members with troubleshooting technical issues related to message transformations and flows as well as analyzing customer messaging specifications and providing gap analysis.
- Responsible for taking customer requirements and converting them into messaging specifications for application integration.
- Creates documentation for future reference, training, and support purposes.
- Communicates with customers and vendors to clarify messaging format requirements.
- Writes translation plans to move development work into various environments.
- Supports integration testing as required.
Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, or Healthcare Information Technology, or closely related field.
Experience requirements: 5 years of experience in IT related occupation.
Special Skills or Other Requirements: Must have experience with each of the following:
2 years experience integrating messaging between healthcare systems (EMRs, Applications, third parties).
2 years experience working in MS Office with a focus on Excel, Word and Visio.
5 years of experience in technical analysis, design and integration implementation.
2 years experience working with relational databases, Transact-SQL, and SQL Stored Procedures.
