Groundskeeper - Plant Ops in Tyler, TX

Summary:

Cuts grass, repairs damaged lawns and prunes trees and shrubs. Lays out and tends flower beds or other decorative vegetation. Removes snow, ice and other obstructions from pedestrian areas and driveways. Maintains driveways and parking lots. Performs routine cleaning and maintenance on gardening and grounds equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Cuts grass, using tractor and lawn mower
• Cuts hedge using electric and hand trimmer
• Maintains shrubbery and flowerbeds
• Takes trash from assigned places to dumpster
• Cleans trash, limbs, etc. from grounds including driveways
• Cleans grease traps
• Cleans swimming pool on a weekly basis
• Assist with the maintenance of the drainage system
• Waters plants both inside and outside of buildings
• Cleans maintenance shop

Requirements:

• High School Diploma

Work Schedule:

8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday
