  • Schedule patient appointments and provides appointment reminders.
  • Liaison between medical professionals and patients.
  • Answer telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner with minimum rings.
  • Route phone calls and handle enquires efficiently and courtesy.
  • Receive and convey messages verbally, email and in writing.
  • Welcome patients and visitors in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Monitor patient flow in department.
  • Answer non-medical questions for patients.
  • Organize and manage workflow.
  • Monitor and maintain supplies and forms.
  • Maintain supply of snacks, juices and paper items for food consumption.
  • Coordinate procedure appointments and availability.
  • Optimize patient satisfaction by scheduling service delivery within their preferences.
  • File, scan and fax documents
  • Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of information.
  • Comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and respecting their grief process.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the reception/waiting area.
  • Utilize team effort to accomplish related tasks as needed.
  • Receive diagnostic testing results, recording and distributing results promptly.
  • Help patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
  • Perform other duties as required.
