Summary:

Answers all incoming calls, these will be transfers or 911 calls.

 Gets information from callers to be able to dispatch ambulance while keeping callers calm

May need to give pre-arrival medical instructions

Dispatches ambulances

Responsibilities:

 Answers phone calls

Gives pre-arrival medical instructions

Talking on phone while typing

Staying calm in a high stress environment

Requirements:

High School diploma

Good typing skills

Good communication skills

Work Schedule:

Rotating 12-hour shifts, this includes every other weekend.
