Cardiovascular / Electrophysiology Tech Per Diem in Santa Fe, NM

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians.  Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by an Electrophysiologist/Cardiologist.

Requirements

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.  Associates degree in Science or comparable work experience.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES. BLS certification required.  ACLS required. RCIS, RCES or CVIS Certification required.

SKILLS:

• Thorough knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, medical terminology and basic computer skills
• Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English

EXPERIENCE: One year Cath lab/ EP experience preferred.
