Summary:
The Application Analyst I is responsible for advancing the functionality and operational efficiency of the use of assigned applications. This entails advising and assisting customers in the operation and administration of their systems; collaborating with customers to enhance their work methodologies and tools; and maintaining a customer–centric technical knowledge and focus when contributing to the analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation activities of assigned software. The Applications Analyst I must process sufficient detailed expertise to support at least one assigned application, and is responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions to all levels of users. This includes support for both the technology and the processes. The Applications Analyst I is responsible for supporting the business goals and objectives for the Department, the Information Services Organization, and the organization as a whole.
