Ultrasound Tech, Radiology, Jasper - PRN Job in Jasper

Summary:

Responsible for communication with patients, Radiologists and referring physicians. Performs sonography procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. Assists in preparing results of Ultrasound procedures. 

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills • Completion of two or four year AMA or equivalent Allied Health degree and sonography registered or registry eligible with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 

B. Experience • Twelve months actual full time internship or clinical ultrasound experience preferred. 

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications • Must have active credentials with at least one of the following registries: ARDMS (RDMS), ARRT (S). Will consider registry eligible with registry or certification achievement within twenty four months of hire date. Must be CPR certified. • Current AHA CPR certification
