Summary:

The Endoscopy/G.I. Tech , under the guidance of the Endoscopy Registered Nurse, is responible for the care and safety of the patient who comes under his/her care. Included within the assignment is the responsibility for insureing effective communication with the other G.i. team members, the patient, physician/surgeon, anesthesia providers and other ancillary departments. The Endoscopy/ G.I. Technician is trained in the delivery of age appropiate care by hospital policy. Performs assigned tasks in accordance with the hopital’s philosophy, valies, standards, and policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Licenses, Registrations or Certifications:

· Current BLS Card

· Endoscopy Technician- Certified Preferred
