A meaningful educational experience for a college student to gain valuable experience in their field of study; while accomplishing tasks and completing projects in an enriching environment. The intern will gain networking opportunities that include interactions with CHRISTUS leaders and Associates. The Intern will be provided with a variety of projects to support learning objectives in areas of Talent Management. This include: researching best practices in key metrics for the department's programs, developing a proposal for measuring ROI and success, and understanding day to day operations of Talent Management. The Intern will also work with key members of the Talent Management team to learn about the scope and responsibility of the team and the CHRISTUS approach to developing people.

  • Utilize a variety of resources to research and document industry best practices on metrics to implement related to Talent Management programs.
  • Gather, sort, and organize available data from Talent Management programs in a manner that is sustainable for future use.
  • Interviewing Talent Management stakeholders to further develop knowledge in this area.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of certain Talent Management programs.
  • Document learning and processes, and generate proposals for process improvements when needed.
A. Education/Skills
  • Currently enrolled in College degree program in one of the following degree programs; Research, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, or Business Administration.
  • PC and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work with others
  • Quick learner with attention to detail, high degree of confidentiality and solid organizational skills
  • Needs to be resourceful, innovative and persuasive with ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
B. Experience
  • At least 2 years of college preparation towards major.
