Job Description

Summary:

Schedule elective in-patient and out-patient surgeries. Collects demographic and insurance information, provides surgery schedules to appropriate departments, and performs general office duties as requested.

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills

· High School diploma or equivalent required.

· Computer and excellent communication skills required.

B. Experience

· Previous hospital or physician scheduling experience preferred as well as understanding of medical terminology.

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

· None
