Job Description

Summary:

Responsible for the oversight and coordination of all formal clinical education programming. Responsible for directing the planning, developing and administering clinical educational programs to meet learning needs of all staff. Responsible for the identification of organizational clinical training needs and in development and oversight of curriculum development Responsible for planning and facilitation of charge nurse and preceptor developmental leadership programs for the organization. Communicates with nursing leadership in regards to educational needs and provides direction for development of instructional programs for the organization. Works as a collaborative member of the education department to provide training 

Requirements:

Education/Skills

• Associate's Degree in Nursing

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• RN License in state of Texas or compact
• BLS
