Leads a patient-focused team that coordinates pre-admission services, education, and collection of patient data.

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills

· Education/knowledge of general nursing theory, process and practice. Graduate of a nursing school, BS in nursing preferred. Orientation training in specific unit with general knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, technique of acceptable patient care, and technical vocabulary

B. Experience

· Three years medical/surgical experience preferred.

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

· Current Louisiana nursing license, BLS
