RN Case Management- Prescreening Nurse 7A-7P Job in Beaumont

Summary:

Facilitates clinically appropriate and fiscally responsible healthcare services by verifying the medical necessity of inpatient admissions and the placement of patients in the appropriate venues of care. Determines whether admission to the facility is appropriate and facilitates appropriate referrals to the other healthcare facilities. Reviews guidelines for appropriate services for various levels of care. 

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills • Graduate of accredited Registered Nurse Program. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 B. Experience • Minimum of five (5) years recent clinical experience as a RN; minimum of five (5) years experience and in-depth understanding of federal and state reimbursement as they relate to admission of patients; must have successful managerial experience;

 C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications • Current RN licensure in the State of Texas
