Job Description

Summary:

Works under the direct supervision of a licensed physical/occupational/speech therapist and/or physical/occupational therapist assistant to perform therapeutic treatment. Assists as an acute care physical medicine team member encouraging and promoting independence of the patient and the patient’s family.

Requirements:

• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
• Six months experience preferably in hospitals, desirable or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Experience in ADL/Transfer techniques preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• BCLS certified
