Summary:

The Multiskilled Radiology Technologist will be a graduate of an A.M.A. approved Allied Health program. A Texas license will be required for these individuals prior to employment at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas. Specialization can be obtained in any of the following modalities with training and active participation in any 2nd modality *: Diagnostic Radiology, Special Procedures Radiology, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Mammography. Each Registered Technologist will maintain a level of competency necessary to work in their chosen fields. Competency will be expected in performance of job duties associated with varying age groups. The evaluation of job performance will be done annually. The Multiskilled Technologist can base his/her performance on behavior, clinical skills, leadership and quality maintenance. Clinical Experience Required, as outlined by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, in multiple modalities.

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills

· Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and/or Radiology Associate Degree required, B.S. Degree preferred.

B. Experience

· 2 years of staff level preferred, but not required.

· Clinical Experience Required, as outlined by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, in multiple modalities.

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

· ARRT/TMB
