The Program Manager HR Operations will utilize Human Resources and data analytics expertise, provides a strategic approach to identify, prioritize, and successfully execute HR initiatives and special projects. Functions autonomously, exercises discretion and judgment, and works independently. The Program Manager HR Operations will be a key member of the CHRISTUS Human Resources team helping to support HR project design and delivery for key HRIS related programs. This position will be responsible for proactively leading projects, disseminating knowledge, project identification (in partnership with HR functional areas), and training/coaching of changes to process/function (as necessary). 

  • Support various HRIS System Implementations and ongoing administration to include:Data gathering/analysis/revision/management, work team management, system testing,
  • Manage various HR support functions for the Associate population and the regional HR Strategy teams
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of best practices within HR programs, program management, and data analytics. Introduces innovative and scalable solutions to enhance HR programs, processes, and data analytics
  • Leads committees and work groups for various HR functions and cross departmental projects
  • Reporting and tracking from multiple HRIS systems to provide data to end users and or audit for HR compliance and accuracy
  • Coordinates and prioritizes flow of work and acts independently in handling and/or directing incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and posted materials; maintains files appropriate to department operations, including records and files related material of a highly confidential nature, and per the CHRISTUS Health retention of records policy
  • Serves as project manager, coordinating multiple, parallel team projects, both incoming and outgoing and regular and ad-hoc, which may range from departmental to multi-disciplinary/cross-functional team or enterprise-wide projects and initiatives, performing actions to keep a project running smoothly, such as records keeping, resource coordination, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with and pertinent policies and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years combined experience with HR Project Management, data analysis, and direct HR experience
  • Knowledge of HR policy, law, best practices, healthcare environment a plus
  • Project management
  • Strong excel skills, with analysis, Visio
  • Critical thinking, problem solving
  • Strong sense of urgency and customer focus
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
