Summary:

The Patient Care Tech Senior works with the RN’s in the unit to provide care to patients. They can perform venipuncture, dress wounds, removal staples and sutures, and measure peak expiratory flow rate. 

Requirements:

EDUCATION:

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Completion of a Nursing Assistant program is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Patient care experience in an acute care hospital, preferred.

Knowledge of the hospital environment: is required.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

CPR certification is required.
