Summary:

  Assists in the examination, treatment and care of patients. Also, responsible for phones, appointments, obtaining insurance authorizations for test/surgeries, medical record preparation . 

Requirements:

 High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Two (2) years medical office background with medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program. 

CPR certification required (American Heart Association).
