Materials Management Technician Senior - Supply Central Serv Job in San Marcos
Job Description
Summary:
This is a vital member of Materials Management focused on supply management in procedural areas with a responsibility to administer the Materials Management Information System (MMIS), Meditech.
This includes, at minimum, the maintenance of the stock dictionary, inventory management, routine reporting, supply replenishment, and communication with OR staff to understand needs preemptively with a primary focus on procedural area inventories. Additional functions include stock replenishment from Central Supply, annual inventory counts, periodic cycle counts, and assisting in product conversions, recalls, obsolete and surplus.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College is preferred
- Health care / Hospital experience
- Preferred knowledge of medical surgical supplies
- Computer literate, experienced in Excel
- Familiar with MMIS systems
- Clear, concise, communication required – verbal and written
