Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Manager Pharmacy Service assists in leadership of the pharmacy department through the development and the implementation of plans and goals that are in accordance with CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital (CSFCH) goals and CHRISTUS Christian philosophy and values. Responsible for the cost-effective management of CSFCH resources through prudent inventory and supply control and personnel utilization, while maintaining quality service and patient care. Ensures that all federal and state laws, rules and regulations, hospital/departmental policies and procedures are followed in all aspects of drug distribution. Provides support to the staff in solving problems. Promotes motivation, teamwork, and productivity. Providing services to patients of all ages at a high competency level.

Requirements:

• Management experience desirable. 340b experience a plus.
• At least 2 years Pharmacy experience preferred. Retail experience preferred. Supervisory experience a plus.
• Licensed by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy in good standing.
