Manager Materials Management Job in Shreveport

Summary:

The Manager is accountable for the 24 hour operations of the Central Service and Materials Management departments. Responsible for overall management of the distribution process for supplies and equipment; researching equipment and supply problems; performing other duties as assigned by the Director of the department. Responsible for streamlining the distribution process in order to control supply costs. Responsible for strategic planning for both departments in order to maximize utilization of resources and plan for capital and personnel needs.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in a business curriculum or 10 years related healthcare experience required with preferred 5 years of that being in a supervisory role.

· Must have a Class C (Not CDL) valid driver’s license to drive delivery supply trucks and company van. If no class C driver’s license at time of an offer, then will need to obtain within 3 months of employment. Must have a safe driving record.
