Laboratory Educator/Quality Coordinator, Lab Admin General - Full Time Job in Beaumont

Summary:

The Laboratory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and documenting educational and staff development activities. This includes department orientation, training, and competency programs, conducting and organizing in-services as needed to ensure staff competencies. Assists laboratory leadership with lab quality process improvement initiatives, assists in the preparation of audits by coordinating documentation and performing a quality review to ensure completion and assists with the preparation and coordination of QA/QC educational programs: in-house workshops, presentations, training and seminars for new hires and existing staff.

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills 

1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a chemical, physical, biological, or natural sciences. 

2. Education that has been evaluated by an acceptable credentialing agency and deemed equivalent to a US Bachelor’s degree or applied Science degree in a chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology. 

B. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications 

Not required 

C. Experience 

Required: Two years 

Preferred: One year of experience in a clinical, environmental, or industrial laboratory.
