Maintain employee information that is accurate, meets the organization's legal obligations, and assists in human resource management and planning. Process changes to the organization's human resource programs and policies in accordance with guidelines so that these programs are implemented accurately and fairly. Maintain employee records manually or in a human resources information system (HRIS) so that information is accurate and secure. Data managed may include personal information; job history; retirement and insurance documentation; leave accrual records; and details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression. Analyze data and prepare reports for management, to meet legal obligations, or for external agencies. Statistics analyzed may include employee demographics, skills inventory, absences, overtime, or employee turnover. Respond to enquiries from employees, managers and external agencies (such as government departments or insurers) about individual and organization-wide human resource information, without compromising the organization's standards of privacy and confidentiality.

  • Researches, analyzes, and compiles complex data and records, and prepares correspondence, reports, briefings, recommendations and other documentation.
  • Conducts audits and assists with planning, developing, revising, and implementing HR activities, processes, and systems to ensure compliance, and to meet strategic goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for producing, tracking and monitoring Human Resources (HR) internal compliance processes and activities related to federal, state and local government agencies, which includes, but is not limited to, DOL, OSHA & The Joint Commission as it relates to HR, Affirmative Action, EEO, I-9, License and Certification requirements, as well as any new organization directives, Executive Orders or regulations released by applicable federal or local agencies.
  • Assists in reviewing prevailing practices among the industry to identify new strategies and recommend appropriate revisions to improve program effectiveness and efficiencies and recommends new and/or modified policies, procedures, or programs to align with changing requirements and business needs.
  • Works with any internal or external stakeholders to assess, develop, and implement any process changes or remediation plans for identified HR related issues, including, but not limited to, workforce licensing requirements.
  • Monitors and elevates awareness of internal and external HR compliance trends and provides guidance as appropriate to reduce risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Researches and responds to HR Compliance inquiries, audits, and concerns.
  • Assists HR Shared Services team with correcting license/certification information in HR system and works any other HR cases related to license/certification.
  • Analyzes information to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Other HR Compliance or HR Program Support related duties or projects as assigned.


  • Bachelors degree preferred in Management, Business, Human Resources or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to the position.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Must be expert/highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and web-based applications, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of HRIS and data systems preferred.
  • The ability to scrub and analyze data from multiple sources
  • Attention to detail.
  • 2 to 4 years of compliance in HR or Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Working in a matrix organization.
  • aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or equivalent preferred.
