Summary:

Responsible for utilizing the computer generated floor report of all discharged patients and picking up medical records from all nursing units, day surgery, special procedures, and ancillary areas. Responsible for complete and accurate prepping and scanning of inpatient, day surgery, observation, CLI, ER and RCR medical records in discharged date order into One Content system. Places loose reports with charts when prepping. Responsible for the analysis of CLI accounts on a daily basis. Assist in other areas of the department as needed.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills required.
• High degree of proficiency in numerical filing and able to learn terminal digit filing.
• Two years’ experience in a Medical Record Department with computer experience preferred.
