Summary:

This is a Part-time position. Shift is 2-3 days/week, M-F, 10 hour shifts and includes call.  

The Endoscopy Technician is a trained assistant who is primarily responsible for maintaining the endoscopic equipment and the general cleanliness of the entire unit, and who performs nursing assistant and occasionally receptionist/clerical functions on the Endoscopy unit as designated by the Team Leader; The Endoscopy Technician works with all team members in an effort to promote excellent patient care, physician and patient satisfaction, and in support of the health system’s mission. 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS – American Heart Association

·2-3 years of hospital patient care experience or 1 year endoscopy procedure experience preferred

·Basic computer skills
