Job Description

Summary:

Emergency Department Technician works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists in providing direct and indirect patient care by performing assigned tasks and procedures in accordance with the philosophy, values, standards, and policies and procedures of SFCH and the department of Nursing. Serves as staff to provide emergency services to patients of all ages.

Requirements:

• Six (6) months C N A, EMT, EMR.
• Emergency Room experience preferred.
• Current Louisiana C.N.A certification/ or Current National EMT Certification and Current Louisiana EMT certification or Current Louisiana EMR certification.
• Current BLS (American Heart Association).
• De-Escalation Certification.
