Echocardiogram Technician Job in Lake Charles

Summary:

This position is responsible for standard and complex echocardiograms, stress testing, and electrocardiograms. This position also performs special procedures such as TEE and Stress echo.

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills

· High school diploma required.

· Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology preferred.

B. Experience

· Two years experience in cardiology field preferred.

· Experience with stress testing is preferred.

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

· ARDMS or CCI certification is highly preferred.

· If not certified at time of hire, tech will have 24 months to complete certification. BLS
