Summary:

To promote optimal trauma care in the context of a regionalized trauma care system through: clinical activities; professional and public education; injury prevention; research activities; quality improvement activities; maintaining the trauma registry; and administrative functions. This position is responsible for the organization of services and systems necessary for a multidisciplinary approach to providing care to injured patients. Manages care by maintaining effective lines of communication with all concerned parties.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree preferred in a health related field
• RN License in state of employment or compact; BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC; CEN or TCRN certification preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in care of trauma patients.
