The Director Revenue Integrity and Compliance will be responsible for leading the system oversight of accurate patient billing according to governmental policies and CHRISTUS compliance and integrity policies. This position is financially responsible for the entire System and is accountable to the System CFO’s. This includes directing System audits for all facilities to ensure correct billing guidelines are adhered to and identification of lost revenue, trends and opportunities. The Director Revenue Integrity and Compliance is responsible for developing and administering System wide revenue integrity and compliance guidelines. The Director is also responsible for System wide compliance and billing education and overseeing System wide policies to ensure the System’s defensible pricing guidelines are adhered to. This includes directing and approving all System CDM requests to ensure System wide standardization and initiatives are followed. Additionally, the Director Revenue Integrity and Compliance will oversee and direct the maintenance and integrity of the System charge description master to ensure reimbursement accuracy, thereby reducing denials and maintaining regulatory Compliance. This includes directing the CHRISTUS CDM maintenance process for all regions including on-going updates and revisions, incorporation of code set corrections, revenue code to CPT/HCPCS code mismatch corrections and newly identified charges for current systems and future standards developed. The Director Revenue Integrity and Compliance will also be responsible for auditing system computer applications to ensure dictionaries and interfaces are linked correctly for correct patient charging and billing.


Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or Health Administration required. Masters Degree preferred

Greater than 10 years related experience in hospital billing, compliance, coding regulations and revenue cycle

Greater than 5 years hospital management experience

Experience with coding and billing regulations

Experience with automated systems, interfaces, and implementations required

Experience with Epic applications required

CPC or CPC-H highly recommended

Epic Certification preferred
