Job Description

We are seeking a certified, full time, outpatient Diabetes Nurse Practitioner with experience who can function independently. A Diabetes Nurse Practitioner who has also earned the credential CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator), is highly desired. This provider will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including educators, dieticians, health care and social workers to improve and maintain patient health outcomes. Other key duties include examining, interviewing, and diagnosing patients; ordering labs and developing treatment plans. Two years of experience as an outpatient Diabetes Nurse Practitioner is preferred.

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Advanced Practice Nursing (APRN) program required
• Current NM and unrestricted NP license required
• National Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse required
• 2 years' NP experience required
• Active BLS and ACLS certification required
