Summary:

This position is responsible for coordinating and providing technical and oversight expertise for the CT department of Radiology. CT Lead Tech will operate the computerized tomography (CT) unit to produce accurate diagnostic examinations and interventional procedures. Assist in other areas of the radiology department when available in a friendly and helpful manner. The CT Lead Tech’s purpose and function is to be an advanced, experienced user of the CT scanner and perform workstation functions adequately with little or no supervision. CT Lead Tech ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to care provided to all age groups. CT Lead Tech is responsible to train new hires. 

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills • Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required • Basic computer knowledge required. • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. • Excellent customer service skills required. 

B. Experience • Minimum of Three (3) years of CT experience in a Hospital or Clinical setting preferred • Four (4) years CT experience in a clinical Imaging setting is highly preferred 

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications • Registered by the (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Required • Registered by the (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technology in CT Required if less that (15) years of CT experience. • Current state Licensure. Required • Current BLS (American Heart Association). Required
